Maths Tutoring

I work at a library in Ipswich during the week (apart from Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons) and, at another, alternate Saturdays once a fortnight, but I am able to help with Maths tutoring outside these times.

I was awarded a Maths & Physics BSc degree with First Class Honours in 1985 and gained a PGCE in the Lifelong Learning Sector (LLS) in 2012. Subsequently, I was awarded Qualified Teacher Learning Status by the Institute for Learning (IfL). I have an Enhanced Certificate (formerly a CRB check) from the DBS dated 13Oct14 and am registered for the updating service.

Because my training was within the Life Long Learning Sector, I would prefer to help young adults, or adults rather than children with: Numeracy (including QTS Numeracy test maths) ; Functional Maths ; GCSE Maths ; or Level 3 Maths. It may be that you simply want to: refresh or learn knowledge required in your employment: boost your confidence in a topic (e.g. percentages, fractions, division); face a maths phobia; develop an interest in the subject (maths can be enjoyable!); help others in your family; or be able to understand and assist with your children's homework.

If you think I might be able to help, you can contact me at the following email address:

To reduce spam I have not put the correct "AT" in my email.

When emailing me please replace _AT_ with @.
